Under the current circumstances, staff at YPWS are working hard to take the best approach to managing the health and safety of our service users, and follow government issued guidelines.
We recognise that the situation may change on a daily basis, and we will update you as this occurs.
Counselling: Currently EYCS counselling appointments at Wells Place will be cancelled next week, our clients will be informed via phone/text. This includes the scheduled parent workshop (this will be rescheduled at a later date tbc). Similarly, if our other venues close, we will be in the same position. For those appointments that are going ahead, please only attend if you feel well and are symptom-free. Do not attend under any circumstances if you have a temperature/fever, cough, or feel unwell (or if you have had contact with someone who has). Please inform us in the normal way if you need to cancel.
TADIC Hedge End: Please only attend the drop-in if your need is urgent, and you must be symptom free in order to have a face to face service. We will triage cases at the door, and you will need to contact us via phone (as per sign on the door) when you arrive. If you need to be seen for a face to face appointment and are symptom-free, you will be asked to wash your hands on entry. If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms, we will not be able to see you and would refer you to seek advice through calling 111 and advise you to start self-isolating. We appreciate this can be frustrating and an unsettling time, but we all play a part in preventing the spread of the virus to those vulnerable individuals, and that includes yourself, your family, and our staff.
Thank you for your patience at this time.
